Here is the list of our popular viola models that we offer
*We carry 15" to 16 ½" size violas.
**For students smaller than 15", we string the appropriate size violin with viola strings.
20B Model
The 20B model is our most inexpensive viola, perfect for beginners* (see note above).
It has Cadenza Violins' signature body with a spruce top and maple back and sides.
Like all our instruments, it is set up in-shop by our own luthier.
The 20B model is strung with D'Addario ProArté strings.
20C Model
The 20C model is our intermediate model and comes strung with higher quality Thomastik Infeld Dominant strings. It has higher-grade spruce and maple on the body than the 20B model. Another noticeable difference is the "flaming" of the maple on the back and sides.
17E Model
The 17E model is an advanced model teachers love for their students to have.
It has even higher quality spruce and maple with the same (or even more pronounced) "flaming." The 17E model has a booming low end and more clarity in the upper registers compared to the other models.
Like the 20C model, it comes strung with Thomastik-Infeld Dominant strings.
