About Cadenza Violins

Cadenza Violins first opened in 1998 under the ownership of Weili Su, a decorated Chinese luthier who immigrated to the United States to progress his violin-making career;  Mr. Su has opened and since operated a successful location in Plano, Texas.  In March 2022, the Shreveport shop relocated to our new state-of-the-art workshop in Business Park Drive under the new ownership of Lillya Wang.

Cadenza Violins continues to provide high-quality string instruments and services to students, teachers, and music professionals, serving the local Shreveport-Bossier area and other cities and symphony orchestras throughout the Ark-La-Tex.  Cadenza Violins is actively involved in our community and frequently assists local school orchestras, the Centenary Suzuki School and Caddo Parish School Board.  We also provide services for teachers and students in Centenary College (Shreveport), Northwestern State University (Natchitoches), Louisiana Tech University (Ruston), Grambling State University (Grambling), and University of Louisiana in Monroe.  Cadenza Violins is an active member of Violin Society of America (VSA).
